Nifty Films is an independent production company founded by me, Ben Small, and supported every step of the way by my wife,Isabell Beenker. Together, we've built a business around something we genuinely love… filmmaking, storytelling, and working with people to bring their ideas to life.

Before starting Nifty Films, I worked professionally in the film industry, learning fromincredibly talented filmmakers and creatives who helped shape the way I see stories. While I loved that world, I knew I wanted to create something of my own. So I stepped away from the traditional industry and committed to building a company that reflected my own vision and values.

The name Nifty Filmscame about completely by accident. On the first day of shooting my first independent short film, we were filling out the slate when someone jokingly asked, "What's the production company called?" Without thinking, I mumbled, "Nifty Films." Everyone laughed, the name stayed on the slate, and somehow... it stuck.

What started as an off-the-cuff answer has grown into a brand that truly feels like home.

Today, Nifty Films brings the language of narrative filmmaking into the commercial world. We believe every business has THEIR own story, personality, and purpose. Rather than chasing trends or copying what everyone else is doing, we focus on creating films that feel true to each individual brand. We take the time to understand who you are, what you stand for, and how your story deserves to be told.

For us, it's never just about making content. It's about creating films that people connect with. Films that are thoughtful, cinematic, and authentic. Every project is built from the same passion that started it all—a love for filmmaking and a belief that every story, no matter the size, deserves to be told well.
